Our Organist

Meet your organist, Aubrey Robinson

Since playing for his first dance at just 13 years of age, Aubrey has become one of the leading dance organists in the UK. He has been the resident organist at the Sheffield City Hall since 2005, and his career has seen him perform at many iconic venues, including The London Palladium and performing on the world famous Wurlitzer at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

As well as performing at regular weekly dances in Sheffield, he has shared the stage with a number of artists including Russell Watson, Jimmy Osmond Jayne MacDonald, Paper Lace and Dean Andrews. As well as performing at over 100 dances each year, Aubrey also plays the part of Bob Dylan in Traveling Wilburys Experience theatre show. The show plays to sell out crowds at theatres around the UK and has become established as one of the country’s leading tribute shows.

When he isn’t performing, Aubrey owns and runs Harmony Music School, South Yorkshire’s most recommended independent music school with two branches in Sheffield and over 400 students.
